Carl Jackson

With the release of “White Collar Hippie “, Carl has a second album of new material, furthering his brand on the musical universe. His prior “claim to fame” was having a most extensive variety of cover songs to touch the soul of the listener. That repertoire, joins with his two CD’s for his own flavor of originality for the future. Inviting all to enjoy a musical ride!


It all started when . . .

Carl has been a life long musician. He made the finals of the ‘Ted Mack Talent Search’ in 1968. It was the ‘American Idol’ of it’s time. That same year, he played and sang on television at eleven years old.

What followed has been a musical journey that has included joining the Jackson Family Band at fourteen, hosting radio shows, winning the Wisconsin State Band Championship, and playing every honky-tonk, dance hall, and large event under the sun.

With the Jackson Family, he was inducted into the Central Wisconsin Music Hall of Fame in 2004. His first solo release was “Shootin’ Out the Lights” in 2011. His solo act features originals and many popular and eclectic covers. His second album “White Collar Hippie” was released in September 2019.
